Note: To use the beautiful swashes, you’ll need a program that supports OpenType features, such as Adobe Illustrator CS, Adobe Photoshop CC, Adobe InDesign, or CorelDRAW. Swashes are referred to as alternate styles. For example, the letter “a” with ss.01 and a closing swash is an alternate style for “a.” To access these features, you need to open the glyphs panel.

In Photoshop, the glyphs panel allows you to find alternatives and ligatures. Select the Chardonnay Script font, open the glyphs window, and double-click on the glyph you want to use. In Illustrator, you can open the glyphs panel by navigating to Window > Type > Glyphs.
