They don't blast out codes constantly. Filmsupply usually saves their sitewide discounts for Editfest, which takes place twice a year, in the spring and fall. Those codes usually come with a minimum order amount before the discount kicks in at checkout, so a small clip pickup might not qualify. Outside of that, signing up for their newsletter gets new subscribers a welcome discount, which is probably your best shot at a code the rest of the year.
They do. Sign up for their newsletter, and you get a welcome code good for your first order. You don’t need to look for that code, though, since our list works for anyone, whether you’re new or have bought from them before. "**********4D" is the strongest code we've got right now, and it takes 25% off your cart at checkout regardless of whether you've bought footage from them before.
Using a code here takes just a few steps once you've picked your footage.
Copy "**********4D" from this page before you head over to their site
Pick your clips and add them to your cart based on the license criteria you need
At checkout, there's a promo code field near your order total
Paste the code in and click Apply
Your cart total should now reflect 25% off before you pay
Filmsupply only lets one promo code apply per order, so if the total doesn't move, the code you tried probably isn't the one taking effect. Come back to this page and pick another code from our list to try again.
Not through a special multi-license discount, but you can still work the checkout to your advantage. Filmsupply lets you combine several clips in one order instead of licensing them individually, and that combined total helps you clear the minimum spend that their top codes need. So the savings come from hitting that threshold in one order, not from a bulk-rate built into their pricing. If you need something bigger, like a large batch of footage for one project, you can reach out to their support team directly, since they put together custom licensing and pricing packages outside the regular checkout flow.
There's no individual student discount here. Filmsupply doesn't run that kind of program for personal accounts. Registered non-profits, though, are a different story. You claim it right in the cart by picking the non-profit option and filling in your organization's details before you pay.
Mostly yes. Filmsupply codes are designed to work sitewide, so they apply regardless of which collection you're shopping from, instead of being locked to one library. The catch is your order still has to clear a minimum spend before the code is valid, so a tiny cart might not qualify even though the collection itself is fine. And only one code applies per order, so you can't stack a second one to push past that threshold.
